The Solstice POD Wireless Presentation and Collaborative Tool is designed to allow wireless projection of one or many devices.

TO BEGIN

Select the SOLSTICE POD input on the control panel.

The image that projects will contain IP information for connecting to the Solstice POD via the Mizzou Wireless WiFi and the IP information for connecting directly to the Solstice POD device itself.

Open a browser on your device and enter the IP displayed on the projector.

The browser will begin a process to download and install the Solstice Client software/app.

Within the software/app, enter the FOUR-DIGIT NUMBER shown on the projection. The number should display in the bottom left corner of the screen.

The Solstice Client software/app will allow projection via the entire desktop, a single app, a recording, or a media file.

COLLABORATION

Multiple devices can connect to the Solstice POD at the same time to display their screen, media, or camera.

The same process is followed by each device, and each device can control the display by default.

NOTES

The Solstice Client software/app can be downloaded and installed before connecting to the Solstice POD.

The FOUR-DIGIT NUMBER will change each time all devices disconnect from the Solstice POD.

AV output over various Apps directly (such as Youtube) may be limited. Look for an online video via the browser of your device if you encounter this issue.

Solstice POD feeds directly to the projector and does not pass through the room PC. For lecture capture, one must utilize software or apps on the wireless device itself.
